New charity shop opening in Kirkcaldy

On Thursday 1st March, we are set to open a new Deaf Action charity shop on Kirkcaldy high street.

The shop will offer clothes, textiles, furniture, electrical appliances and sports equipment to name just a few! And if you have a few hours to spare each week, we are looking for volunteers from the local community to dedicate their time and enthusiasm to making the shop a success.

Alternatively, you can also support us by donating any unwanted items. We will love to re-use what you don’t want. You can drop them off into the shop during the opening times below.

As well as a Charity Shop, the new venue will also be home to Deaf Action’s Employability Service in Fife. This service is designed to support deaf* adults aged 25+ who are currently out of work and assist with increasing their chances of successfully getting a job. A new training room behind the shop will also be available for room hire, Deaf Awareness sessions and British Sign Language (BSL) Classes, later in the year.

Opening Times: 09:30 – 17:00 (Tuesday  – Saturday)
